20 developers working on Schedaero is showing results. During 2019 we have been testing, tweaking, coding and implementing no more than 430 updates in total.
These updates didn’t just happen by chance, they were all rigorously assessed, planned and added to our product development roadmap. Small things are often implemented as an improvement to functionality that are already up and running. New ideas originate from our strategy; to solve big pain points that we learned about from either talking to you or from visiting operators during our many field trips. The ambition is of course to provide you with the best and most awesome flight operations software on the market.
Training and currency an important milestone
One of the most exciting updates lately are the Schedaero Training and Currency functionality. This lets you get an overview of all your upcoming training needs, get warnings when a pilot is unqualified to perform a mission (due to lack of training or qualifications) and give you a heads up when a training due date is approaching. All this will make sure that your pilots can stay airborne as much as possible and without interruptions. A couple of other important updates, to mention a few, are the FlightBridge, the eApis and Camp integrations.
Small things make a big difference
During the year we have been keen to add some polish to already implemented functionality. This has resulted in series of smaller updates such UI updates, image upload possibilities, custom documents upload improvement and many more upgrades. In the end – many small things can make a big difference. If you are interested in getting the latest updates, make sure you follow our product updates Twitter feed: https://twitter.com/Schedaero
Great stuff on the horizon
Looking ahead we have one of the biggest releases yet for Schedaero; The iOS Crew App will profoundly change how you and your organization use Schedaero. Our vision is that no pilot should have to login into Schedaero, but should be able to do it all from the crew app. It gives pilots the ability to receive push notifications for new missions, view upcoming trips and do their flight and duty logging in the app. It gives operations or chief pilot the ability to access data from trips directly from the pilot in Schedaero instead of using intermediary ways of sending and entering the data. No double entry of data! The App will have an official release at this year’s NBAA Oct 22-24 in Las Vegas. Visit our booth and you will have the opportunity to try it out.
