Orlando, FL – October 21, 2014 – Avinode subsidiary Schedaero, the web-based aircraft and crew scheduling software system, is launching an advanced quoting tool offering major time-savings for charter operators.
The tool, named Schedaero Quotation, has been developed for charter operators, allowing them to create client quotes and proposals in a fraction of the time previously required: instead of having to repeatedly enter data across multiple pages, it now calculates the price in real-time as the customer’s itinerary is developed.
Introduced to Avinode’s customers in 2010, Schedaero, which caters to both Part 91 and 135 global operators, allows operators to manage the entire process online from receiving a trip request through to pilots filling in their flight logs.
Johan Sjöberg, business manager, Schedaero, says: “Schedaero Quotation is the fastest quote-building tool on the market. Many operators spend all day generating quotes; with this new tool they can spend the minimum amount of time on the quote, leaving more time to follow up with the client.
“The increased flexibility and mobile-friendly interface mean operators can access the system via any smart device to rapidly respond to a client’s enquiry. Our aim is to eventually package the tool as a separate system for the bigger charter operators using other scheduling systems.”
Vertis Aviation has recently started to use Schedaero Quotation. Neil Turnbull, chief operating officer, Vertis Aviation, says: “We are pleased to have switched to Schedaero to manage our flight quotes. It’s proved to be a real time-saver and the option to completely personalize the quotes for each client is a true benefit. Vertis focuses on attention to detail and the new system, with its ease of functionality, underpins this part of our service.”
In addition to the new Quotation tool, Schedaero’s system now also features multiple pricing profiles that are customizable. Operators can now pre-set profiles based on the requested aircraft’s fees and any discount the client has been assigned. The necessary pricing profiles, including seasonal pricing, are then selected during the quote building process.
